We have 90 sailors registered for the ILYA Opti Championship Regatta July 27th - July 29th, 2023 at the Delavan Lake Yacht Club.  The DLYC is looking forward to welcoming all the sailors and their families!  We are sharing some important information about logistics and what to expect.

Arrival

On-site check-in will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 27th.  Check-in for Green Fleet only will also be open from 7:00 am - 9:00 am on Friday, July 28.  Prior to check-in, each competitor will need to complete a safety check.  Once you arrive, find your lake's assigned area on the DLYC lawn to setup your boat and complete the safety check.

Check In

Once you have a signed off safety check form, you can check-in inside the DLYC.  You will pick-up goodie bags and pre-ordered merchandise and meal wristbands.  There will be limited merchandise available and you can purchase additional meal wristbands.

Coach Boats

Boats used exclusively by coaches will be assigned locations for overnight storage.  Opti trailer parking will be available off-site.  Directions will be provided at check-in.

Power Boats/Spectator Boats

Spectator boats can be launched at the DLYC.  Competing boats and coach boats will be prioritized for launching. There will be limited parking at the DLYC pier.  Off-site storage for spectator boats will be available and directions will be provided at check-in.

Other places to launch on the lake include: Town of Delavan Community Park and Lake Lawn Resort Marina.
