Question 2: Can an X Boat crew hang onto the sidestays either inboard or outboard continuously to promote healing of the boat?
Answer 2: No, this is clearly prohibited by 3.18.3 of the class rules.

Question 4: Is it permissible for an X Boat crew to momentarily use the side stays to bring themselves into the boat from a hiking position?
