ILYA Sailing Counselor 1 Day Course

Who: Recommended for first year instructors ages 13-15 years old with a current Boating License, those not eligible for US Sailing Level 1 Certification

What: ILYA Sailing Counselor Course

When: Saturday, April 27 9:00am-3:00pm

Where: Pewaukee Yacht Club
 N22 W28204 Edgewater Drive, Pewaukee WI 53072

Why: To help participants transition from sailors to instructors. To ensure they are using proper sailing techniques, safety protocols, and to give them the tools/resources that will help prepare to assist in sailing instruction.

Fee: $50 includes Sailing Counselor Workbook & US Sailing’s book: Teach Sailing the Fun Way. Panera lunch & snacks will be provided.

What to Bring: All participants are responsible to bring: pen/paper, lifejacket, close-toed shoes, and dress appropriately for indoor & outdoor activities.
