Site - Okauchee Lake Yacht Club and Sailing School, Breezy Point, Oconomowoc, WI
Cost - Thanks to the generosity of Okauchee, this course is free. Lunch will be provided; a donation to the Okauchee Lake Sailing School is welcome, if you desire.
This course is designed for volunteers who work home lake racing on our Inland scow lakes. If you are considering race committee work, assist with race management or are just beginning to serve as a homelake PRO, this course will cover:
basic functions of starting/finishing a race
how to determine mark placement
how to change a course
essential equipment
driving/anchoring a boat
procedures to improve your current operation will be covered
