BREAKING NEWS from the US Olympic Committee - Alie Rusher of Cedar Lake (WI), Stanford University, former ILYA X-boat sailor and sailing instructor has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics in women's quadruple sculls. Alie's parents Jack and Cindy are both two-time Olympians in '88 and '92 Alie's sister Kay rowed for Stanford and brother Nick rows for Yale.

The kids were all X-boat sailors and sailing instructors at Cedar after matriculating from the X fleet and when their busy schedule allows they find themselves at the helm an MC or a C Scow. Cindy recently served as the CLYC Commodore and she and Jack are so proud of her as the strides she has made technically over the past year showed clearly in the results.
Congratulations Alie!
